TOWN OF WENTWORTH
Town Park Ordinance- Hamilton Field, Riverside Park and the Town Common
Pursuant to RSA 41:11 and 47:17, it is hereby ordained by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Wentworth, New Hampshire, as follows:
- Alcoholic beverages.
- OHRV’s.
- Littering.
- Bicycles, roller skates or skateboards on court surfaces.
- Pets, including livestock. (Working dogs and “seeing eye” dogs are exempt from this ordinance.)
- Open fires.
- All glass containers.
- The use or operation of any motorized vehicle except in authorized areas.
- The parking of any vehicle on the grounds of Riverside Park/Hamilton Field between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Activities other than those designated in specific areas of Riverside Park, Hamilton Field and the Town Common.
- Any change or modification to the property of Riverside Park, Hamilton Field or the Town Common.
PENALTY: Any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be
fined a minimum of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars but not more than one thousand
($1,000) dollars for each violation.
This ordinance shall replace any previous Town of Wentworth Ordinance
relative to Town Parks; Riverside Park, Hamilton Field and the Town Common.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and supersede any previous ordinance until amended or repealed by appropriate authority.
