February 20, 2007 Selectmen's Meeting Minutes

Present: Palmer Koelb, John Millican, Randy Morrison and Janet Woolner

Also Present: Francis Muzzey, Chip Stata, Carol Friedrich, Randy Comsteller, Ellie Murray, and Jennifer Meade

 

John moved to open the meeting at 6:02 pm. This was seconded by Palmer and approved.

Palmer moved to approve the Minutes for February 13, 2007. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Selectmen signed letters to Gelsi, Boucher M/L 11-01-20 and 11-01-07, Mack M/L 08-05-02, Clarkin M/L 13-04-17; and signed an Intent to Cut for Comeau M/L 05-08-34.

Jennifer Meade asked Selectmen to explain and confirm the assessed value for M/L 08-07-10. Selectmen suggested she review her property file and advise back if she sees anything out of line.

Ellie inquired if a kerosene stove could be used at the Town Hall instead of wood. Randy Morrison offered to supply wood. Selectmen agreed they need to use the wood.

Palmer moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91-A:3. II (b), at 6:50 pm, to discuss the hiring of a pubic employee. This was seconded by Randy and approved by John. Palmer moved to come out of non-public session at 7:35 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved by John. Selectmen agreed to continue the dialog with a previous Police Chief Candidate.

Selectmen approved an event application for Carol Friedrich. She would like to use the Town Hall on March 4, 2007 for a movie and discussion on global warming.

John moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.
