February 27, 2007 Selectmen's Meeting Minutes

Present: John Millican, Randy Morrison and Janet Woolner

Also Present: Chip Stata, Randy Comsteller, Ellie Murray, Bobby Cass, and Warren Davis

 

John moved to open the meeting a 6:13 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Bobby requested permission to order hydraulic oil and a gear box for $661.00. Selectmen authorized the purchase. Bobby advised he has serviced the grader.

Chief Warren Davis advised that Patrolman Don Jones did graduate last Saturday and is now part-time certified.

John moved to approve the Minutes for February 20, 2007. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Selectmen signed letters to the Post Office regarding 911 addresses. Selectmen approved Veterans tax credits for Roth M/L 11-07-14 and Brown M/L 08-11-19; and an Elderly exemption for Sauer, M/L 11-04-19.

John moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91-A: 3 II (b), at 7:00 pm to discuss the hiring of a pubic employee. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Chief Warren Davis said he will continue as officer in charge for at least another two to three months. He said that Officer Don is now on vacation for two weeks and then has military guards for two weeks. Selectmen agreed to proceed with providing the necessary information with the Police Chief Candidate.

John moved to come out of non-public session at 7:20 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

John moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:38 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.
