May 29, 2007 Selectmen's Meeting Minutes

Present: Palmer Koelb, John Millican, Randy Morrison, and Janet Woolner

Also Present: Aryann Hamilton, Chip Stata, Kenyon Karl, Patrolman Don Jones, Randy Comsteller, Tatjana Jarvis & Pete Chierichetti

 

Palmer moved to open the meeting a 6:04 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Palmer asked if the Baker Valley Band could use the Town Hall tomorrow evening. This was approved by John and seconded by Randy.

John moved to go into non-public session at 6:15 pm per RSA 91-A:3, II (c) to discuss matters which if discussed in public would likely affect adversely the reputation of a person. This was seconded by Palmer and approved by Randy. John moved to come out of non-public session. This was seconded by Randy and approved by Palmer. No decisions were made.

Patrolman Don Jones updated everyone on police complaints and activity during this past holiday weekend.

Selectmen signed letters to T. Thomson M/L 04-05-05,and Taylor M/L 08-01-02; and DOT regarding deficient bridges.

Kenyon discussed options for disposing of oil base paint and whether the town would collect the paint for a fee to be transferred, by the Town, to Plymouth in September instead of individuals taking the material to Plymouth themselves.

Palmer moved to approve minutes and non-public minutes for May 22, 2007. This was seconded by John and approved.

Selectmen discussed M/L 04-03-10 that is a piece of property with deeded interest by other property owners. More research will be done and discussion will be continued another day.

Palmer moved to go into non-public session at 7:03 pm per RSA 91-A: 3, II (c) to discuss matters which, if discussed in public would likely affect adversely the reputation of any person. This was seconded by Randy and approved by John. Palmer moved to come out of non-public session at 7:33 pm. This was seconded by John and approved by Randy. No decisions were made

Selectmen advised they have more than 50 signatures on a petition calling for a special School Board Meeting.

Selectmen reviewed and denied abatements for Kat Paw Acres Trust M/L 02-02-07 and NH Electric Coop Util 001.

Randy moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm. This was seconded by Palmer and approved.
