April 15, 2008 Meeting Minutes

Present: Palmer Koelb, Randy Morrison, Francis Muzzey, and Janet Woolner

Also Present: Chief Kevin Kay, Bobby Cass, Ellie Murray, Gini Gove, Chip Strata

 

Palmer moved to open the meeting at 6:02 pm. This was seconded by Randy and approved.

Bobby said he is moving gravel with his truck. Selectmen authorized the highway dept to work four ten-hour days effective April 21, 2008. Bobby said he will be meeting with the Eric Merluzzi to discuss the location of the tank and leach fields on Friday.

Francis moved to accept, and approve the Land Use Change Penalties for Powers M/L 13-03-23, Gooden M/L13-03-24, Iacovelli, M/L 13-03-25, Rietkerk M/L 13-03-26, Ledoux M/L 13-03-27, Pensco M/L 13-03-28, Wolf 13-03-29. Weeks M/L 05-07-16, Dunfey M/L 05-07-04, Tanner M/L 12-02-02, and Convex M/L 12-02-10 & 12-02-11.

Chief Kevin Kay said he would have applicants to interview next week.

Randy moved to accept the Minutes and Non-Public minutes for April 8, 2008. This was seconded by Francis and approved.

Francis moved to waive the fee on the Event Application for the Baker River Warriors for 7/19/08. This was seconded by Palmer and approved. Selectmen also signed a letter to Grappone Ford.

Randy moved to oppose the HB 1429. This was seconded by Palmer and approved. Selectmen agreed to send letters to our Senators.

Francis moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 pm. This was seconded by Palmer and approved.
