Town and School Election Filing Period
Just a reminder that the filing period for town and school positions starts January 20 and ends on Friday, January 29. The Town Clerk's office will be open the 29th from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm for office filings only.

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Wentworth will be in session Tuesday January 19, 2016 between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Wentworth Town Offices. The purpose of the meeting is to make updates and make corrections to the checklist and to register new voters. NO CHANGE IN PARTY REGISTRATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED, due to the Presidential Election on February 9, 2016.

Voting hours are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Administrative Assistant Posting
The Town of Wentworth is currently seeking applications from qualified persons interested in providing clerical support to the Administrative Assistant. This is currently a 5 hour a week position during training. This position, for the right candidate, will develop into a full time Administrative Assistant position of 40 hours per week.

Election of Town Officers & Town Meeting
Election of the Town Officers for the Town of Wentworth, will be held at the Wentworth Elementary School, 1247 Mt Moosilauke Hwy, Route 25, Wentworth NH on March 08, 2016. The polls will open at 8 am and close at 7 pm 11 am and close at 7 pm to bring in your votes on Article 1 (the election of Town Officers).
All other articles will be presented, discussed and acted upon on Saturday, March 12, 2015 beginning at 1 pm, to be held at the Wentworth Elementary School.

The Town is seeking volunteers to assist in the repainting of the town common bandstand. Paul Ducharme has generously offered to assist with this undertaking, but will need some help. All materials will be supplied, if interested please contact Paul at 986-2604.
