Notices

Budget Workshops/Hearing

Starting on January 17th, the Selectmen will continue to have Budget Workshops each Tuesday from 5 to 6 pm prior to the regularly scheduled Selectmen’s Meetings, until all department budgets are completed. The Selectmen’s Budget Hearing is scheduled for February 14, 2012, at 7:00 pm, which will be a part of the regularly scheduled Selectmen’s Meeting.

The public is invited.

Assessment Information

Cross Country Appraisal Group has completed the scheduled meetings with property owners. If you did not receive a notice and would like to discuss your new assessed property values, please contact the Selectmen’s Office at 603-764-9955 or Cross Country directly at 603-415-0130.

Property cards may be obtained by contacting the Selectmen's Office.

Also, abatement requests must be submitted to the office no later than March 1, 2012.

Reminder About Snow Removal

No person shall park any vehicle on a public way or sidewalk within the Town of Wentworth in such a way as to hinder the removal of snow from the streets of Wentworth by the Town of Wentworth or the State of New Hampshire.

Overnight Parking

It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on either side of any street or Municipal Parking lot in the Town of Wentworth between the hours of 12:00 Midnight and 6:00 AM, between November 1 and May 1 of any year.

Transfer Station Hours

The transfer station hours change to winter hours on November 6, 2011. These hours are:

Wednesday: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

NOTE: Unlike previous years, the transfer station will not be open Sundays.
