Fire Permits

Anyone living in the Town must get a fire permit to burn anything outside and can do so (under certain conditions only) with a fire permit. Fire permits can be obtained from any of the following forest wardens and deputy wardens:

Overnight Parking

It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on either side of any street or Municipal Parking lot in the Town of Wentworth between the hours of 12:00 Midnight and 6:00 AM, between November 1 and May 1 of any year.

Snow Removal

No person shall park any vehicle on a public way or sidewalk within the Town of Wentworth in such a way as to hinder the removal of snow from the streets of Wentworth by the Town of Wentworth or the State of New Hampshire.

Copies of these ordinances are also available at the Wentworth Town Office and the Wentworth Police Department.

Wetlands and Waterways

Those operating in or near wetland or waterways shall file a Standard Dredge and Fill Wetlands Permit Application with the Town Clerk before beginning work. Under RSA: 483-A fines can be assessed for non-compliance.
